A New Beginning Adventure- August 6th, 2010

By the radio show this Friday, a huge amount of friends will have moved out of state to start new adventures.  Instead of doing some embarrassingly sad or bitter adventure, I decided to focus on the fact that this is really Iowa City's New Year celebration.  Newness!  New people!  New adventures!  New jobs!  New classes!  It's all pretty exciting, and all of the songs will be about new beginnings.

Please tune in this Friday from 5-7 pm central.  You can make a request during that time by calling 319-335-8970. EDIT: The show went until 6:30 due to a surprise in-studio performance.

Winter Break Announcement!

For the next two weeks we are on KRUI's winter break schedule! This means twice as much fun for you (and definitely us). You can find us this week AND next week on Monday AND Tuesday evenings at 6-8 pm central. We'll be in the main studio for all four shows but the radio broadcasting equipment is currently frozen. This means you can find us ONLINE by just clicking on the main studio link.

Because this is KRUI's break schedule, we're planning on playing it a little loose (if you can believe that). No official themes are planned as of yet, but that certainly doesn't mean we won't break one out.
